PT GLR supports Translog Fest 2025: Government Encouraged to Implement Halal Priority Logistics and Halal Ports
Jakarta, 23 Jul 2025

The Trisakti Institute of Transportation and Logistics (ITL) in collaboration with the Indonesian Halal Logistics Association (AHLI) held a seminar on "Strategic Partnerships between Higher Education and the Logistics Industry Sector in the Transformation of Human Resources and the Halal Ecosystem" at the ITL Trisakti campus in Jakarta today. This event is part of the Translog Fest 2025 series of activities, which also commemorates National Logistics Day.

Speakers included Binsar Agung Hartono, Deputy Director of Halal Industry Infrastructure at the National Committee for Islamic Economics and Finance (KNEKS); Mohammad Ilham Bukhori, Lead Business Analyst at TRANSTRACK; Abdullah Ade Suryobuwono, Head of DLPTL ITL Trisakti; and Moh Nazery, LBB International Malaysia.

"The issue of halal is not just a fundamental issue, limited to the product. It also relates to its distribution. Therefore, halal logistics is crucial to ensure that halal standards are maintained throughout the distribution, storage, and packaging processes, preventing contamination with non-halal products," explained Binsar during his presentation.

He added that, in today's developments, the government has coordinated with relevant ministries and institutions, including the Ministry of Transportation, the Ministry of State-Owned Enterprises, the Halal Product Guarantee Agency (BPJPH), and the Indonesian Research and Innovation Agency (BRIN).

To conduct a joint study on the development of Halal Priority Logistics and Halal Ports, Binsar explained that KNEKS has completed the joint study and submitted the results to the 13th Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia and the Halal Product Assurance Agency (BPJPH).

Meanwhile, BPJPH is currently finalizing the Halal Product Assurance System (SJPH), or Halal Certification Guidelines for Storage, Packaging, and Distribution Services. Going forward, KNEKS will collaborate with BPJH and relevant stakeholders to encourage the implementation of halal priority logistics and halal ports in Indonesia.

GLR strongly supports the series of events held four times a year from July to September, with Kelik Eko Raharjanto, Director of PT GLR, attending.

The event is designed to accommodate academic and industrial exhibitions, recruitment events, and present key figures from government, industry and academia in various inspiring and interactive sessions. This event is expected to be a bridge of synergy between the world of education and the world of work in the transportation and logistics sector, including the development of workforce competencies in the field of halal logistics.
